Ingredients
Is it real meat?
All our products contain 100% real chicken meat. Some products are made using only chicken while others include additional protein sources to increase the nutritional content of the product. Take a look at our ingredients and nutritional facts on the Product Information page.
Do your products contain artificial flavours or preservatives?
We do not use artificial flavours or preservatives in our products. All Heat 'n Eat products are made with real ingredients for a fresh and authentic taste.
Are your products halaal?
All Heat 'n Eat products are certified halaal by the Darul Uloom of Trinidad and Tobago.
Is the chicken used in your products free from hormones and steroids?
Heat 'n Eat products contain meat from locally grown chickens that are raised on a balanced natural diet with no hormones and no steroids.
Do any of the products contain known allergens?
Some of our products contain wheat flour and soy protein. Please visit our Product Information page or contact us for more information.

How do I prepare Heat 'n Eat products?
Preparation instructions are printed to the back of our boxes or on our Product Information page.
Can I eat these products straight from the box or do they require additional cooking?
We have two types of products:
Ready to Eat- fully cooked but requires heating since they are frozen,
Ready to Cook - raw or partially prepared, requires cooking to a food safe temperature.

Food Safety at the Plant
What else is processed at the Heat 'n Eat plant?
The Heat 'n Eat plant and equipment only processes halaal chicken products. Our facility processes some products which contain soy and wheat and plant and equipment may contain traces of both. Refer to our Product Information page to find each product's ingredients.
How do you ensure your products are safe for consumption?
We take food safety and quality control seriously. Our Food Safety page outlines the standards and protocols we follow to ensure you receive a high quality product.
Food Safety at Home
What happens if I don't prepare the products as recommended on the packaging?
Our recommended preparation instructions are tested and verified by our R&D and Quality Control departments. It is important to follow these instructions to ensure products are brought to a food safe temperature before consumption. Consuming raw or undercooked poultry can increase your risk of food borne illness.
